Now Accepting Registration for Summer Program

Summer is just around the corner as we currently battle the crazy amount pollen that floats in the air. We are excited to accept our Summer 2023 program participants in our Jordan Ranch Facility. Summer 2023, we are offering both in-person and online programs to include as many individuals as possible in our programs.

Our Summer program sesstions are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Participants engage in a variety of activities at The Arc of Katy facility and on field trips to area parks and other interesting and entertaining area attractions where we can maintain our health and safety protocols. ​Each session will include a variety of fun activities such as excursions, crafts, life skills, games, and much more. Summer Program cost is $38 per day and participants must be current members of The Arc of Katy to participate. Participants will bring a snack and lunch most days and will receive an Arc of Katy

t-shirt.

Three sessions of the summer program are offered in 2023:

• Summer Session 1: June 5 to June June 30

• Summer Session 2: July 5 to July 28

• Summer Session 3: August 1 to August 18

Participants can register for one, two, or three sessions. Summer Program registrations are accepted on a first come, first registered basis. Participants can register to attend one or more days of each week of each session but are required to attend the same days each week of the same session.

Space is limited. Participants already enrolled in The Arc of Katy Day Program are provided an opportunity to be the first to register for the summer program. Because of our reduced facility capacity this year, it is unlikely that any participant will be able to attend more than one to a few days each week. Efforts will be made, however, to accommodate all interested individuals with an opportunity to attend.

Online Summer Day Program

In addition, we are offering online summer day program sessions on Tuesdays as an alternative and supplement to our in-person summer program. Participants in the online summer program engage with their peers via Zoom in instructor-facilitated activities from 10 to 10:45 a.m. and 1 to 1:45 p.m. Tuition for the online program is $20 per day.
