Be Strong

To promote physical fitness and good health, The Arc of Katy offers Be Strong activities to our Adult Day Program and Summer Program participants at no additional cost. All adults and teens in our programs have the option of participating in physical fitness activities including riding three-wheel bicycles, playing basketball or other outdoor games and exercising indoors on our treadmills or stationary bicycle. 

Be Strong activities in recent years also have included the option of water aerobics and water therapy on specific days. Due to ongoing precautions in response to the 2020-2021 community spread of Covid-19, we currently are not using community pools.
