VOLUNTEER
The Arc of Katy can make a real difference in the lives of adults and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your time, energy, and compassion help create opportunities for friendship, growth, and inclusion, enriching lives and strengthening our community. And while you’re making an impact, you’ll also find that volunteering with us is deeply rewarding, meaningful, and fun.
Currently, we are in need of volunteers with special skills or interests who would be willing to present to our participants during our Day Program (9 a.m.-3 p.m.). Past presentations have included everything from gardening and cooking to trips to Alaska. We also welcome groups (16 years of age and older with adult supervision) who would be willing to serve a special lunch and engage with our participants. Periodically, we also have volunteer opportunities associated with our special events or with helping to maintain and beautify our facility.
