SUMMER PROGRAM
The Arc of Katy Summer Program (Jun-Aug., 7:45 a.m.-3 p.m.) extends the engaging activities of our Day Program to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) ages 16 and older. From fitness and recreation to educational enrichment, volunteer service, and social outings, participants enjoy meaningful opportunities to build skills, friendships, and confidence while staying active and connected during the summer months.

To promote fitness, good health, and an active lifestyle, The Arc of Katy incorporates Be Strong activities for Summer Program participants. These activities keep participants moving through fun options like playing basketball and outdoor games, or exercising indoors on treadmills, stationary bikes, and rowing machines—all at no additional cost.
For those who enjoy the water, our Be Strong Aquatic Program provides water aerobics at the Katy Peckham Park pool on designated days. A small additional fee applies for aquatic participation.
TUITION & FEES
The Arc of Katy is committed to keeping our programs affordable for families. Tuition for both our Adult Day and Summer Programs is $40 per day, with additional fees of $5 per session for the Be Strong Aquatic Program. An annual membership of $75 per participant or family is also required. Tuition assistance is available for families who qualify, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation.
