MONTHLY SOCIAL PROGRAM

The Arc of Katy hosts monthly socials from September through May for teens (16+) and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Held one Saturday evening per month (Sept.-May) from 7-9 p.m. at the Mark A. Chapman YMCA, these events offer a safe, welcoming space for friendship, fun, and community through activities like dancing, bingo, and movie nights. Planned and chaperoned by volunteers from local service organizations, the socials promote inclusion and connection while providing lively entertainment and refreshments.

FEES

There is no cost to attend monthly socials; however, all social program participants must be registered members of The Arc of Katy. Annual membership is $75 per participant or family. Participants must also meet program eligibility requirements and complete all registration forms before attending any social events.

All social events are held at the Mark A. Chapman Main Street YMCA located at 1350 Main St. from 7 - 9 PM.
