Part-Time Day Program Instructor
The Arc of Katy is seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Day Program and Summer Program Instructors to support adults and teens with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role helps create a safe, engaging, and purposeful environment where participants build friendships, develop life skills, and actively engage in the community.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support engaging, age-appropriate daily activities

Assist participants with transitions, directions, and skill development

Ensure participant safety and well-being at all times

Support community outings and transportation

Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive team spirit
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working with individuals with IDD preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Valid driver’s license and ability and willingness to drive a 15 passenger bus (no special license or permit required)
