ADULT DAY PROGRAM
The Arc of Katy Adult Day Program serves adults (18+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by providing meaningful opportunities for friendship, wellness, community engagement, and personal growth in a safe and caring environment. Far more than simply offering care, we actively involve participants through 200+ annual outings that include social activities, fitness and recreation, volunteer service, and educational enrichment. These experiences provide opportunities for friendship and connection, build life skills, foster inclusion, ease the burden on families, and strengthen the community by breaking down barriers and changing perceptions.
To promote fitness, good health, and an active lifestyle, The Arc of Katy incorporates Be Strong activities for Adult Day Program participants. These activities keep participants moving through fun options like playing basketball and outdoor games, or exercising indoors on treadmills, stationary bikes, and rowing machines—all at no additional cost.
For those who enjoy the water, our Be Strong Aquatic Program provides water aerobics at the Katy Peckham Park pool on designated days. A small additional fee applies for aquatic participation.

The 2026 Arc of Katy Summer Program consists of three separate sessions. Each session is a separate sign up. The Summer Program runs Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Session 1: June 1-June 26
Session 2: June 29-July 24
Session 3: July 27-August 14

TUITION & FEES
The Arc of Katy is committed to keeping our programs affordable for families. Tuition for both our Adult Day and Summer Programs is $40 per day, with additional fees of $5 per session for the Be Strong Aquatic Program. An annual membership of $75 per participant or family is also required. Tuition assistance is available for families who qualify, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation.
