Covid Survey

The Arc of Katy Covid 19 Policy Guidance Survey - Effective as of July 1, 2021 

 

Please indicate your choice of the following three options under which ·The Arc of Katy will operate due to the current status of the Coronavirus Pandemic. However, until further notice, enhanced building and bus cleaning and disinfecting will continue as is.

Option 1 -Status Quo 

​

• Prior to Entering Building - Continue to ask Covid questions and take temperatures. Participants with fever or illness will not be allowed to attend the Day Program.  

• While Inside the Arc Building - Continue to wear masks while inside while continuing social distancing

• While Outside the Arc Building (in an open-air environment) - No masks but continue social distancing

• While Visiting outdoor attractions/Restaurants /Coffee shops - Social Distancing at outdoor activities only, masks required for ordering or using restrooms etc. 

• While traveling on Arc Buses - Wear masks and continue social distancing on buses - some windows open/air conditioning

 

Option 2 - Adopt some recent CDC 'Guidance'

• Prior to Entering Building - Discontinue asking Covid questions but take temperatures on arrival. Participants with fever or illness will not be allowed to attend the Day Program. 

• While Inside the Arc Building - masks required but no social distancing 

• While Outside the Arc Building (in an open-air environment) - No masks but continue social distancing

• While Visiting Restaurants /Coffee shops or outdoor attractions - Follow individual store policy, e.g., where masks required for ordering or using restrooms etc., but not for indoor or outdoor eating, but with continued social distanced seating if available 

• While traveling on Arc Buses - Wear masks but no social distancing on buses - some window open/ air conditioning

Option 3 -Minimum Restrictions

• Prior to Entering Building - No Covid questions and no temperature checks on arrival. Participants with illnesses will not be allowed to attend the Day Program. 

• While Inside the Arc Building - No masks inside, if vaccinated, and no social distancing. The option remains to wear a mask. 

• While Outside the Arc Building (in an open-air environment) - No masks and no social distancing 

• While Visiting Restaurants /Coffee shops or outdoor attractions - Follow store policy on masking and social distancing 

• While traveling on Arc Buses - No masks and no social distancing on buses - some windows open/air conditioning
