The Arc of Katy invites you to attend a wonderful evening of divine dining and entertainment embracing the theme "It's a Mardi Gras Thing" at our annual "Achieve with us" Gala on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023. We are seeking sponsors, underwriters, silent and live auction items, and volunteers for the event.
Our guest speaker is Roderick Batson, a philanthropist, entrepreneur, and partner in Katy's Howdy Homemade Ice Cream franchise, and native of the Houston area. He will share his inspirational story and focus and discuss how employment practices of his business complement the mission of The Arc of Katy.
Glenn Beckendorff, a longtime community leader and supporter of The Arc of Katy, will serve as auctioneer.
All proceeds will be used to help fund programs and resources that The Arc of Katy provides for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
