The Arc of Katy Adult Day Program serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who are 18 years of age and older and have graduated or aged out of high school.
The Adult Day Program provides opportunities for our participants to engage in social, recreational and community service activities, events and outings at The Arc of Katy facility and at the many attractions and points of interest such as museums, sports parks, restaurants and shopping centers throughout Katy and Greater Houston.
Adults in our Day Program also can participate in Be Strong, a program that includes water aerobics and water therapy, strength building and cardio development activities. Be Strong activities are offered on specific days at no additional costs to participants.
The Day Program is held Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Arc of Katy facility located at 5819 10th Street, Suite C, in Katy, Texas.
All participants in the Day Program, Summer Program and Social Programs are required to meet minimum requirements that are outlined in the Programs Manual and become members of The Arc of Katy.
The Arc of Katy also offers a limited number of partial scholarships for those who desire to participate in our programs but may not have the ability to pay the standard program fee.
