The Home & School Collaborative Special Education Process

The Kingsland Special Needs Ministry and The Arc of Katy Empowerment Through Knowledge Program are joining to provide a seminar that will address the importance of collaboration between the home and school in the special education process.

The seminar will be presented by Fred Shafer, who has over 40 years of experience in special education as director of speciall education in the district and regional level, Texas Education Agency special education monitor and independent consultant.

This seminar will provide information on navigating the sometimes complex, challenging and at times emotional special education process in ways that promote collaboration and more effective IEP meetings.
